How much do YouTube sponsorships pay?
Typical rates by views, what moves the price and how to estimate your own number.
The short answer
Most integrations are priced on expected views, not subscribers. A common range is roughly 8 to 20 EUR (or USD) per 1,000 expected views for a 60 to 90 second integration, and about 50% more for a dedicated video. Sponsrs uses this range for its budget estimates.
These are working estimates, not a rate card. Finance, software and B2B audiences sit near the top of the range. Entertainment and broad consumer audiences sit near the bottom.
A quick formula
Take your median views on the last 10 to 15 videos (not your best video), divide by 1,000 and multiply by your CPM.
- 50,000 median views at a CPM of 15 gives about 750 for an integration.
- The same channel doing a dedicated video would ask for about 1,125.
- 100,000 median views at a CPM of 10 gives about 1,000.
What moves the price
Four things matter more than subscriber count.
- Audience: country, language and buying power. A US finance audience is worth more than a global teen audience.
- Niche fit: how close the product is to the topic of the video.
- Format and usage rights: integration, dedicated video, pinned link, whitelisting or exclusivity all add cost.
- Proof: past results, promo code sales and consistent views make you easier to buy.
Do not guess, check the market
Look at which brands sponsor creators of your size and how often. Brands that sponsor often and repeat with the same creators have a budget and a process, and are the easiest to sell to. Put your number in your media kit and be ready to explain it.
