How to pitch a brand for a YouTube sponsorship

A short, repeatable way to find the right brand, the right person and write a pitch that gets answered.

Esta guía está escrita en inglés.

1. Start with brands that already pay creators like you

A brand that sponsored three channels in your niche last quarter has a budget, a process and a reason to talk to you. A brand that never sponsored a creator is a much longer sale.

Look up two or three creators close to your size and topic and list their sponsors. Keep the ones active in the last 90 days and skip one-off campaigns that ended.

2. Check the fit before you write

Compare what the brand sells with your audience and your content. Write down one concrete reason it fits. If you cannot, drop the brand.

  • Does your audience match the buyer (country, age, interest)?
  • Have they sponsored creators with similar subscriber counts and views?
  • What format did they buy: integration, dedicated video or affiliate?

3. Find the right person

Send the pitch to the influencer or partnerships manager, then to the marketing lead. A generic info@ address is a last resort. Titles to look for: Influencer Marketing Manager, Partnerships Manager, Growth Marketing Manager, Head of Brand.

Sponsrs shows decision makers per brand and marks each email as verified or unverified. Treat unverified addresses as guesses and send a short, polite note.

4. Write a pitch of 120 words or less

Use the same four lines every time and change only the specifics.

  • Line 1: who you are and your channel in one sentence, with your median views.
  • Line 2: the proof that they sponsor your space (name two creators they worked with).
  • Line 3: the offer: one integration, what it includes and the metric you will report.
  • Line 4: one easy next step, for example a 15-minute call this week.

5. Follow up twice, then move on

Follow up after 4 days and again after 10 days with a new piece of value, such as a recent video that mentions their category. After the second follow-up, close the loop politely and try the next brand.
